Prueba y Error is a publishing collective created by students who want to experiment and share their interests through different formats. It began with ¡A la mesa!, a collection of zines that aims to spotlight ingredients that often go unnoticed or are underused, like bread, gulupa, or honey. Each zine brings together recipes and stories centered around a single ingredient. But it goes beyond cooking: the goal is to connect with food through humor, emotion, or craving. It’s an invitation to explore food with fewer rules.

So, why bread? Because it’s the one we’ve always had — at breakfast, in quick sandwiches, the one that goes with everything. Our mission was to rediscover it and find new ways to enjoy it. That’s why: Pan a la mesa! (or Bread on the table!)

For this project, I contributed to the ideation, writing, and curation of some of the content for the bread zine. I also supported the promotion and helped organize the launch event. It was a collective effort, and the design was handled by an external team.
